The nominated charity for the Row4Charity Indian Ocean Rowing Race was The Stroke Association which is a very worthy cause. The crew of “Bexhill Trust Challenger” did their bit by not only rowing the 3132 nautical miles (which is over 4700 land miles!), but by winning the race for a team of 4. In a sense these brave young men pulled an awful lot of rowing stokes to benefit The Stroke Association and it is a fantastic achievement.
